Tips- Changing permissions and Resetting your computer

Steps to change permissions from “access denied” files.

There are two ways.

First Method.

Open file Manager
select file
right click file and select properties from menu
From properties
select security tab
go to group or user name
select one
go to edit and change the users permissions
go to permissions for administrator and check full access
These users will now be owners or have access to the files
this can be down with a whole directory or individual file
If this does not work or the user is not found in the username box
got to second method.

Second method

Open file Manager
select file
right click file and select properties from menu
From properties
select sharing tab
go to button that says share and click on it
go to drop down menu selection arrow in the first field
click it, then select user you want to give access to
Change permissions to what you need.
then click share on the bottom.
The user you selected will have access limited to permissions you selected
